Saint Joseph Health System is looking for an Outpatient Locum Hematology/Oncology to start in March 2026!
Practice Setting: Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
Reason for Coverage: New service line
Dates of Coverage: March 2026 - March 2027
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult Geriatric
What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology % Oncology % Internal Medicine %: Hematology 50%; Oncology 50% - 0% IM
Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT (Clinic/Office): 30 average
Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 0
Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: With an IN license 60 days; without IN license 90 days
Facility will reimburse for the following costs: Flight Hotel Rental Car Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
Required Procedures:
- Mgmt. of VAD/CV Catheters
- Bone Marrow Biopsy
Required Duties:
- Participation on a Tumor Board
- Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants
- Orders Tests
- Blood Bank
- Orders Images
- Prescribes
Administration of Chemotherapy:
- Physician
- Nurse oncologist

Requirement description :
- Board Certification (provider must have AMBS/AOA board certification in one and competency in the other demonstrated) - REQUIRED
- Active IN State License - REQUIRED
- BLS - REQUIRED
- $25k Conversion Fee - REQUIRED
