Job Summary
Senior SW Automation Tester
Overview-
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior SW Automation Tester to join our growing
Cloud Engineering team. You will be part of a small and collaborative testing function working closely
with another Cloud Software Tester as well as developers designers Product Owners and Product
Managers.
In this role you will play a key part in ensuring high-quality delivery from our newly started local
development team in India with a strong focus on test automation execution and continuous
improvement. Our testing frameworks and test automation strategy are currently being defined and
established by our existing Senior Tester. Your role will be to collaborate closely contribute with
technical implementation and work within the testing frameworks and strategies that are being set -
while helping to expand coverage and maturity across the cloud solutions.
You will be a strong advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle driving the
implementation of automated tests and ensuring consistent testing practices across the team.
Key Responsibilities-
Collaborate with the existing Senior SW Tester to expand and mature the test automation
framework and testing strategy.
Design develop implement and maintain automated test scripts based on established
frameworks and standards.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and design
specifications.
Ensure continuous quality and validation of deliverables from the local development team.
Execute test cases analyze results and document findings clearly.
Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines and ensure stable test execution.
Work closely with developers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Report test outcomes risks and improvement suggestions to stakeholders.
Requirements
7 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience designing and executing test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress Playwright Selenium).
Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD environments.
Good understanding of cloud technologies and environments (e.g. Azure AWS GCP).
Hands-on experience with Linux environments.
Knowledge of cloud-related technologies such as gateways MQTT and Protobuf.
Strong understanding and experience in working according SCRUM
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
