Job Summary:
-2 years professional experience as a User Experience Designer
-Having a portfolio (applicants WITHOUT A PORTFOLIO WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!).
- Strong problem-solving and conceptual development ability.
-Must have experience designing web applications for B2B enterprise software.
Any certifications required: Bachelor s degree or certificate in HCI design or equivalent.
Specific software experience: modern software design tools such a Figma or Adobe XD for wireframes and interactive prototypes.
UX designer II will help contribute to software design solutions by understanding user
needs in a variety of enterprise spaces and creating innovative concepts to help solve
those challenges.
The designer will integrate with cross-functional teams across all parts of Zebra s
business practicing design thinking and evangelizing a human-centered design approach
to ensure Zebra s solutions offer a best-in-class experience for our customers.
The designer will look to support a variety of technical deliverables ranging from
information architecture workflow diagrams wireframes and pixel-perfect production UI
specifications. They will have a more advanced understanding of production limitations
around software technology and be able to clearly articulate their viewpoints when working
with teams.
This is a hybrid position. You will be required to come to the office a minimum of 3 days per
week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Seek out and capture user needs customer use-cases and create design prototypes to
be validated by collaborating directly with our cross-functional stakeholders (such as
Product Managers Program Managers) and senior designers.
Supports all stages of design development process from customer research concept
development prototyping and execution.
Supports and presents work to team members.
Proficient understanding of interaction design visual design design systems and other
related design skills.
Basic understanding of mobile or web development technologies and limitations.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate
action.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor s degree or certificate in HCI design or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience (years):
2 years professional experience as a User Experience Designer.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong problem-solving and conceptual development ability.
Strong understanding of web and mobile technology.
Experience designing B2B web applications for B2B is a must.
Effective oral written visual communication and presentation skills.
Experience using GenAI software interfaces is a must.
Experience designing GenAI interfaces is a plus.
