JOB TITLE: Airframe Inspector
LOCATION: Wichita KS
PAY RATE: $43/hour

Summary:

• Use and interpret drawings inspection manuals specifications shop math precision measuring instruments and specialized inspection tools/equipment.

• Work in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.

• Apply working knowledge of company policies procedures and specifications.

• Maintain an overall understanding of production processes.

• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

• Utilize computing skills to support inspection tasks.

• Maintain required certifications.

• Follow inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes parts and assemblies.

• Verify qualification status of tools.

• Prepare and maintain accurate quality records.

• Perform work across equivalent or lower-level inspector job codes as needed.

Requirements:

• Consistent and punctual attendance.

• Ability to obtain and maintain all required training and certifications.

• Availability to work any shift (1st 2nd or 3rd).

• Ability to support periods of heavy overtime.

• 5 years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience.

• Proficiency in blueprint reading.

• Experience using MS Office and SAP.

• Experience writing NCRs (Tags).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
