Job Summary
Job Title: Hostess
Location : Chembur / Vashi / Vikhroli and Ghatkophar
Department: Operations Front of House
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Floor Manager
Job Summary:
The Hostess is responsible for creating a warm welcoming and memorable first impression
for guests. This role ensures smooth guest flow manages table reservations and supports
the overall dining experience through excellent communication and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Experience
2. Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
3. Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor at all times.
4. Answer guest queries regarding menu timings and services.
5. Ensure guests experience minimal wait time and are kept informed during delays.
6. Reservation Management
7. Manage reservations using the outlets table management system.
8. Maintain an accurate waitlist and communicate table status with the service team.
9. Coordinate with the Floor Manager to optimize table turnover.
10. Operational Support
11. Present menus and assist guests with initial needs (water seating preferences etc.).
12. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception/host desk.
13. Monitor guest satisfaction and escalate concerns promptly.
14. Support the service team during peak hours when required.
15. Communication & Coordination
16. Coordinate with servers captains and managers to ensure smooth guest seating.
17. Communicate special requests (birthdays large groups dietary needs) effectively.
Requirements
Education & Experience
12th Pass / Graduate preferred.
Prior experience as a Hostess/Front Desk Associate in hospitality is an advantage.

3. Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
