Hybrid Melbourne
Were looking for a Business Analyst consultant with Data Architecture & Engineering expertise to bridge business needs and technical delivery. This hybrid role combines stakeholder engagement and requirements analysis with hands-on involvement in designing and enabling scalable secure data platforms. Youll work across the full data lifecyclefrom requirements gathering and modelling to solution design and operational reliabilityensuring that data products meet business objectives and technical standards.
What Youll Do
- Business Analysis: Capture and document requirements model processes and define acceptance criteria.
- Solution Design: Translate business needs into architecture diagrams integration patterns and governance controls.
- Data Engineering: Design and maintain data platforms (cloud/hybrid) pipelines (ETL/ELT) and models (star snowflake data vault).
- Analytics Enablement: Prepare curated datasets for BI tools define KPIs and monitor data quality.
- Operations: Implement CI/CD automate testing and manage reliability cost and documentation.
- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to prioritise backlog and deliver high-impact data products.
What Youll Bring
- Proven experience in business analysis and data solution design including requirements gathering and modelling.
Hands-on capability in data architecture and engineering (cloud platforms ETL/ELT data modelling).
Familiarity with BI tools and analytics enablement practices.
Strong communication skillsable to run workshops and produce clear documentation.
Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in ICT data or related fields.
Salary range - $130k - $150k per annum including superannuation
