INTEGRATION TALEND (ETL) DEVELOPER (HYBRID PORTO)
Portuguesecompany hires for hybrid position
Location:Porto Portugal
Work Model: Hybrid 3 days per week on-site

Key Responsibilities
Designdevelop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Talend
Build scalabledata pipelines across databasescloud platforms and APIs
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Architects totranslate business requirements into technical integration solutions
Implement datavalidation dataquality controls and error-handlingmechanisms
Maintain detailed ETL documentationmappings workflows and operational procedures
Monitortroubleshoot and optimize Talend jobs to ensure performance reliability and scalability
Required Experience
3years of experience in ETLdevelopment data integration or data engineering
2years of hands-on experience with Talend (Talend Open Studio Talend AdministrationCenter (TAC) or Talend Cloud)
Functional & TechnicalSkills
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts:
o Star schema
o Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
o Fact tables
Ability to translate business requirementsinto robust and efficientETL flows
Experience with API-driven integrationsand data exchange formats
Proficiency with:
o Talend Data Integration (DI)
o Talend Cloud
o Talend ESB
Strong SQLskills and experience with relationaldatabases
Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
Solid knowledge of XML JSON and flat-file processing
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
Basic scripting knowledge (Python Bash)
Experience with ETL best practices data modeling standardsand Agile/Scrummethodologies
Soft Skills
Strong analyticaland problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communicationand technical documentationskills
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
High attention to detail quality and data accuracy
