Job Summary

3 months contract with local authority

As a Residential Worker in the Community & Social industry you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals within a residential setting. Your primary purpose will be to provide care guidance and assistance to residents ensuring their well-being and promoting a safe and supportive environment. This position is vital in helping residents achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

Provide daily support and supervision to residents in a residential facility.
Assist residents with personal care tasks and daily living activities.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with other team members.
Monitor and document residents progress and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Facilitate recreational and social activities to promote community engagement.
Ensure the safety and security of residents by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Communicate effectively with residents families and other stakeholders to address needs and concerns.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience in a residential or similar setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Knowledge of residential care practices and procedures.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.

Required Skills:

Requirements: Full-time availability for a year Ability to work 36 hours per week Resilient and able to thrive in challenging situations Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills Comfortable with confrontation and able to deal with difficult situations Availability for out-of-hours meetings and lone working Daily use of a car and a full driving license
