Job Title: Senior Residential Care Worker
Location: East Midlands & Essex
Salary: 14.93 16.38 per hour (Level 4 required)
Working Hours: Full-time rota-based
Hourly Rate: 14.93 16.38 per hour
Number of Sleeps Required: Average 6 per month
Pay Per Sleep: 70 per sleep (paid in addition to hourly rate)
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: Children & Young People with SEBD and Learning Disabilities
Qualifications Required: Level 4 Children Young People & Families Practitioner (Level 5 progression supported)
Experience in Years Required: Experience in residential childrens home working with emotional behavioural or learning difficulties
Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent)
Candidates with only Healthcare NHS CQC or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted-registered Childrens Home will not be considered.

Can build positive trusting relationships with children and young people
Supports children to manage their emotions and behaviours therapeutically
Assists with day-to-day running of the home
Supervises staff and fosters a collaborative and safe environment
Works effectively on a rota and completes sleep-ins as required
