Job Summary

Instructor of Education

Hanover Collegeseeksa full-time continuing Instructor of Education (non-tenure track) specializing in Elementary Education with preference for candidates who bring strong backgrounds in science and mathematics teaching. The successful candidate will join a collaborative faculty team dedicated to excellence in a rigorous field-based preservice teacher preparation program. The position requires teamwork reflective practice and a strong commitment to preparing effective and inclusive educators. Preference will be given to applicants with special education experience anddemonstratedsuccess supporting diverse learners.

Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Education or a closely related field; substantial experience teaching in elementary classrooms (grades K6); demonstrated expertise in science and mathematics instruction; knowledge of teacher preparation areas including classroom management pedagogy/methods diversity and assessment; commitment to diversity equity and inclusion; evidence of collaboration and professionalism in teacher preparation; teaching experience at the college level preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience teaching science and math at the elementary level; background or licensure in special education; experience mentoring or teaching college students; experience with curriculum design field supervisionandaccreditation.
