Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As a Special School District (SSD) licensed practical nurse (LPN) you will be an advocate for students by modifying managing or removing health-related barriers to learning. You will ensure students can thrive in their school setting as independently as possible through your nursing care and empower them to care for themselves. By helping them safely attend school you will be part of a team committed to helping every student excel to their greatest potential.
LPNs work primarily during school hours (which may vary based on building assignment). Please note: some LPNs also ride the bus to and from school with their student(s). They are generously compensated and receive benefits including insurance paid time off and holidays access to staff health clinics and more. They can serve single or multiple schools depending upon their assignment. We are currently looking for LPNs to servedistrictwide for the2025-2026school year.

Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program required
- Experience with pediatrics children with special health needs and/or pediatric psychiatry preferred
Certificates Licenses Registrations
- Practical Nursing License in the state of Missouri required
- CPR - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified required
