Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Location: Multiple Metro Detroit locations (including Southfield Royal Oak Ferndale and surrounding areas)
Schedule: Full-Time Hybrid


Position Overview

A respected healthcare organization is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to deliver comprehensive behavioral health services in a collaborative clinical setting. This role focuses on providing therapeutic support to individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges substance use concerns and behavioral crises.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician who values team-based care and evidence-driven treatment.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and psychosocial evaluations.

  • Develop implement and monitor individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide individual and/or family outpatient therapy services.

  • Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services when necessary.

Integrated Care & Community Collaboration

  • Work closely with medical and behavioral health teams to ensure coordinated care.

  • Support patients by connecting them with appropriate community and public health resources.

  • Advocate for patient well-being and continuity of services.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and timely progress notes.

  • Track treatment outcomes and modify care plans as needed.

  • Assist with case reviews and discharge planning.




Requirements

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Counseling or a related behavioral health field.

  • Active LPC licensure required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing therapy and crisis intervention.

  • Strong experience in assessment treatment planning and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

  • Solid understanding of behavioral health best practices and clinical frameworks.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage crisis situations with sound clinical judgment.

  • Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
