More about the role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Supplier Quality Engineer in Shanghai with Signify.
- This role validates and releases products for and has the responsibility to veto if necessary.
- Sets supplier quality requirements to suppliers and products
- Drives early supplier engagement in the NPI process validates and (dis)approves release of products assemblies and processes at suppliers.
- Owns the PPAP process.
- Reports on performance supports business reviews at suppliers
- Controls and (dis)approves changes of products and processes at suppliers using industry standard practices
- Responsible for all quality related elements in supplier contracts thus enabling cost of non-quality recovery Customer
- Works closely with suppliers to prevent quality incidents
- Accountable for quick but complete resolution of complaints and (dis)approval closure of complaints
- Compiles all data and prepares the rationale/case to ensure complete cost recovery in case of incidents
- Responsible for implementing supplier quality functional excellence initiatives Operational
- Supports the supplier development team in the identification of savings and responsible for implementation of the identified savings
More about you
Bachelor or Master degree majored in Electronic Mechanical or related Engineering background.
Eager to learn and learn fast.
Good communication in Chinese and English.
Willing to travel.
