To: All Teaching and Administrative Brockton Public Schools From: Dr. Kathleen F. MoranAssistant Superintendent of Human Resources RE: Internal McKinney-Vento Virtual Afterschool Academic Tutor (2) Brockton High School The above captioned position is available through FY26 McKinney-Vento Grant FC310 funding. Qualifications: teacher guidance/adjustment counselor or administrator at Brockton High School. to assist students with homework help and/or academic remediation in major content areas up to 3 hours per week. DESE licensed educator. to communicate effectively with students and parents/guardians. Major Duties and Responsibilities: with Guidance/Counseling staff to identify MV/FC students in need of additional academic support services. assist students with access to available afterschool academic resources including tutoring homework-help teacher office hours vocational and career services (BHS). the development and strengthening of student and organization skills. with teachers as needed. progress and participation. with District McKinney-Vento and Foster Care Liaison accurate attendance and count of students served in each service/activity and submit monthly data reports. of any changes needed for transportation to accommodate afterschool activities. monthly time log for additional compensation. Compensation: Two (2) staff will receive a stipend for up to 3 hours per week of academic support throughout the school year. Stipend shall be paid out monthly increments at the contracted rate.
