About the role
The Charge Nurse Manager is responsible for the management of unit service delivery including clinical leadership & coordination operational functions quality and financial performance human resource management quality and risk management clinical pathway development and other service delivery improvements throughout the Endocrinology/Diabetes service.

  • Provide clinical leadership coordination and management
  • Mentor staff as they gain knowledge and skills.
  • Foster a culture of clinical excellence innovation and strategic thinking.
  • Recruit lead educate and develop both new members and existing staff.
  • Supervise mentor and develop relationships through close liaison with other services both internal and external.
  • Facilitate clinical practice development within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participatein service development planning.

About you

  • Eligible to work in NZ with current APC
  • Proven clinical credibility and leadership experience in a New Zealand setting.
  • Hold a current PDRP/QLP or equivalent
  • Dynamic personality and great communication and time management skills.

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the DSN Pay Scale Grae 4 between Step 1 $126124 and Step 3 $138057 p.a dependant on relevant experience.
