About the opportunity

We are currently seeking a committedFull-timeClinical Care Coordinatorto join our Clinical Leadership team at ourMoran Engadine Home working Monday to Friday. This is one of two Clinical Care Coordinators at Moran Engadine.

Reporting to the Care Manager you will be responsible to lead a team of RNs and achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for all residents by ensuring that high quality nursing services are provided through the application of clinical and nursing skills practitioner knowledge qualifications and work practice. You will participate in clinical governance activities including planning and implementing clinical priorities.

The position involves collaboration with a highly dedicated team and the work directly impacts the daily lives of residents enhancing their quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of nursing care services and clinical staff
  • Oversee specialised nursing care needs and high impact high prevalent risks
  • Monitor the delivery of care is consistent with the care plan and goals including dignity of risk choices
  • Provide clinical leadership mentorship and support ongoing clinical education
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents families and health professionals
  • Support a culture of best practice practice evaluation and achievement of clinical outcomes

Skills/Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with at least 2 -3 years aged care clinical experience;
  • Strong leadership skills and knowledge of the Quality Standards for Aged Care
  • Excellent and demonstrated verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers and technology efficiently.
  • Current Police Check and appropriate Working Rights
  • Up to date vaccinations (Influenza Covid-19)
  • Management qualifications (or working towards) highly regarded
