Traineeship Description:
The trainee will support the Open Innovation team in crowdsourcing and evaluating ideas and technologies from the regional ecosystem through initiatives such as student challenges and closed door startup fairs. The trainee will facilitate in the assessment and development of new opportunities with internal teams and contribute to selected projects and centre-wide activities. The role also provides exposure to partner engagement including visits meetings demo sessions and ecosystem events enabling a holistic understanding of how Nestlé collaborates externally to accelerate innovation.
Specific Responsibilities:

  • 1. Conducting external innovation/capability mapping background research and duediligence inputs.
  • 2. Supporting preliminary assessments of potential partners and preparing materials for discussions or technical exchanges.
  • 3. Organizing partner visits meetings demo sessions and eventrelated documents (briefing notes welcome materials and followups).
  • 4. Assisting with partnershiptracking tools NDA workflows SharePoint updates and coordination across internal and external teams.

Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • 1. Good understanding of food science chemistry or engineering.
  • 2. Ability to research analyze and consolidate information on regional startups emerging technology landscapes and partner capabilities.
  • 3. Strong organizational and eventcoordination skills including logistics agenda preparation and communication.
  • 4. Proficient in MS Office tools (PowerPoint Excel Word).
