Our finance function is responsible for ensuring financial stability accurate reporting and efficient processes across the Group. As we continue to grow and expand we recognise the critical importance of efficient and streamlined Procure to Pay (P2P) processes in our finance operations. We are seeking an experienced P2P Professional to join our finance team and lead the O2C function.

You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the end-to-end P2P process within the finance department. Your primary objective will be to ensure efficient management of procurement activities vendor relationships and accounts payable processes including Travel and Expenses. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for P2P. Additionally you will play a critical role in driving process improvements enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

P2P Process Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies policies and procedures for efficient and effective P2P processes including requisitioning purchasing goods/services receipting supplier invoicing and payments employee travel and expenses and supplier query management.
  • Define and enforce P2P controls workflows and approval hierarchies to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate P2P performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement initiatives to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline P2P workflows eliminate bottlenecks and enhance end-to-end process visibility.

Accounts Payable:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions including invoice verification payment processing reconciliations and employee travel and expenses processing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies payment issues nd other accounts payable related queries.
  • Implement and maintain a robust control environment to mitigate the risk of fraudulent activities and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Continuously assess and improve accounts payable processes leveraging automation and technology solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Process Optimisation:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the P2P cycle and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency cost savings and risk management.
  • Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to identify trends monitor process performance and drive data-based decision making.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimise and automate P2P processes leveraging procurement and finance systems (SAP ByD) and emerging technologies (RPA machine learning).

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations internal controls cand company policies throughout the P2P process.
  • Develop and implement a robust internal control framework including segregation of duties authorisation controls fraud prevention measures.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies related to vendor management contact management and accounts payable processes.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practise and update P2P processes and controls accordingly.
