Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the protection confidentiality and integrity of the organizations network infrastructure and communication systems. This role involves implementing advanced security measures monitoring threats and responding to incidents to maintain a secure and reliable technological environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Protection:
Implement and manage firewalls network segmentation (VLANs) and secure protocols (TLS IPSec).
Monitor network traffic to prevent unauthorized access.
Data Confidentiality and Integrity:
Apply encryption to data in transit.
Prevent interception attacks and ensure communications remain unaltered.
Authentication and Access Control:
Enforce strong authentication (MFA) for authorized users.
Define and implement identity and access management policies.
Incident Monitoring and Response:
Utilize tools to detect anomalous traffic DDoS attacks and protocol exploitation.
Coordinate rapid response to security incidents.
Protection Against Social Engineering and Phishing:
Implement user training programs.
Configure systems to block fraudulent communications.
Technical Support and Advisory:
Provide consultancy and guidance to users and technical teams.
Assist in maintaining network virtualization and server infrastructure.
Qualifications :
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Telecommunications Computer Engineering or equivalent in Communications.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in user advisory/consulting and technical support.
Advanced knowledge in networking: routing switching VLANs MAC port security stacking.
Advanced knowledge in operating systems and virtualization.
Experience with data services: Internet access VPN SD-WAN WiFi networks.
Security experience: Firewalls (Checkpoint Fortinet Cisco Firepower) configuring rules interfaces and traffic analysis.
Familiarity with CISCO Call Manager Windows Server VMware Veeam Wasabi.
Certifications (preferred): CCNA CCNP Palo Alto Fortinet Dell (servers/storage).
Languages: English proficiency. Spanish will be a plus
Work Location: Hybrid at client office in Malaga
