Job Description

About the Project

As we expand into major energy infrastructure programs across regional Victoria we are seeking experienced professionals with strong high-voltage power and transmission expertise to join our growing team. Acciona is positioning itself to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects from early design through to full construction encompassing high-voltage transmission works power network upgrades and complex substation design build and commissioning activities. These projects involve the integration of advanced HV systems across multiple regional sites and play a critical role in strengthening Victorias future energy network. This is an opportunity to contribute to landmark programs at scale and be part of a team driving the delivery of essential power infrastructure.

About the Opportunity

As Construction Director you will lead delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects ensuring safety quality and commercial success. Reporting to the Project Director you will manage multidisciplinary teams oversee subcontractors and engage with key stakeholders to achieve project milestones. This role demands strategic leadership and a commitment to excellence.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive project delivery to meet time and budget
  • Lead construction teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and reporting
  • Oversee risk management and mitigation plans
  • Leadership and development of the project team
  • Support innovation and continuous improvement

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Proven leadership in large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial and contract management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement experience
  • RIW and relevant industry certifications
