Job Summary

The Clinic RN is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in a clinic setting including assessment treatment care planning health education and evaluation of patient outcomes. The RN supports providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe high-quality and patient-centered care while adhering to nursing standards regulations and organizational policies.

The RN float will be assigned daily to a clinic department by the nursing manager.

Licenses and Certifications Required
  • Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact state licensure.
  • BLS/CPR certification required within orientation period.
  • Additional point-of-care or department-specific certifications required within orientation.

Educational Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program as evidenced by license.

Experience Requirements
  • One year or more of professional nursing experience preferred.
  • Clinic and/or ambulatory care experience preferred.
  • Coding experience preferred.

Special Skills or Training Requirements
  • Strong assessment triage and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in computer and EHR systems.
  • Ability to calculate and administer drug dosages and injections safely.
  • Skilled in time management multitasking and medical care coordination.
  • May require travel to satellite or community clinics.
  • Trinity Community Clinics: responsible for drawing and packaging lab tests.
