You will contribute to our team by:
Assist engineers with the design and development of mechanical or electrical systems.
Apply classroom concepts to real-world challenges to improve performance and reliability.
Work as part of project teams to support deliverables from start to finish.
Coordinate with engineers technicians and stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.
Gain exposure to industry standards tools and best practices.
Receive mentorship and hands-on training with cutting-edge technologies.
What you will bring to the role:
Education:
Completion of at least two years in a post-secondary Engineering degree program of either Mechanical or Electrical and still enrolled in the program.
Experience:
Analytical skills to identify potential problems related to position responsibilities.
Ability to work effectively with others to resolve issues as part of a team.
Planning and time management capabilities along with independent problem-solving skills.
Strong written verbal communication and presentation skills.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
Basic scripting or programming knowledge (PowerShell Python VBA) for automation tasks.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid Office/Work from home position.
Additional Details:
Hours of Work: 8 hours a day 40 hours a week
Union: CSU52 (ENCO)
Wage: $33.62
As this is a safety sensitive position clearance of a pre-employment drug & alcohol test is required subject to applicable law.
