DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
Business Analyst role responsible for the ongoing improvement of the experience for our North America service users of Oracle CPQ quoting tool and the Oracle EBS Service Tool. This includes the necessary processes to keep the data current/accurate as well as easy to update over time in upstream and downstream systems. It will include supporting our sales teams and Customer Engineers directly for issues that they find using the Oracle will also include working closely with IT to manage issue tickets created and enhancements requested by the business owners. Secondary responsibility will be to work closely with Oracle users to understand their processes and help shape the usability of the Oracle applications they use every day to do their job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Analyst for Oracle quoting and service suite of tools. Troubleshoot issues find immediate work arounds and then do root cause analysis with IT to determine long term fix so it does not happen again.
- Manage the incident tickets created with IT to address issues when the Oracle application is not working as designed.
- Work with services business owners to understand business requirements needed for enhancements to our Oracle Suite of Applications used by our commercial sales team and our back-office support teams.
- Prioritize ITs work being done on enhancements that are gathered from services business owners.
- Act as the services SME for the Triage Team who receives requests from Oracle users regarding issues with quotes and orders.
- Train and support the Service Sales teams as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Finance Analytics or related field required.
- 3-5 years experience in supporting Oracle an ERP application or an enterprise-wide application.
- Experience using or supporting enterprise applications with good technical acumen
- Proficient PC skills in Microsoft office products (Word Excel PowerPoint and Access)
- Act as project manager with excellent planning organization and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to provide progress dashboards that are organized understandable and accurate
- Conscientious accurate and attention to detail oriented
- Work with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Experience with using Oracle CPQ and/or EBS Services tools.
- Experience working within and agile software development environment.
- Experience leading or participating in process improvement projects.
