Legal Assistant (Bilingual Spanish)
Location: Irvine CA (On-site)
Our client is a fast-growing mission-driven immigration law firm dedicated to helping families and individuals across the U.S. and worldwide. They are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Legal Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals with case preparation client communication and administrative duties. This is an in-office role in Irvine CA.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients in Spanish and English regarding documents case updates and next steps.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys ensuring clear timely communication.
- Calendar and track key case milestones including interviews biometrics appointments and deadlines.
- Assist paralegals with preparing immigration forms and organizing supporting evidence.
- Review and organize client questionnaires and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Upload label and manage documents within the firms case management system.
- Ensure each case advances through the workflow efficiently and in an organized manner.
- Process and organize USCIS mail notices and correspondence.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) - required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional client-service mindset.
- Comfort with technology digital files and case management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with family-based immigration or any background working in an immigration law firm.
- Prior experience in a legal administrative or service-oriented environment.
