Job Summary

Description

Responsible for the development and execution of solid strategies and tactics in the assigned area. Responsible not only for achieving area sales goals but also for managing the achievement and development of subordinates sales and performance goals. Responsible for participating in the development and execution of the company/departments strategies and tactics.



Responsibilities
  • Execute activities to enhance our corporate value for all customers in the area and implement Our Value.
  • Achieve quarterly semi-annual and annual sales and execution goals.
  • Manage and support subordinates (area mgr.s) in achieving sales and execution goals.
  • Manage profit targets.
  • Development and execution of area strategies (short medium and long term)
  • Assist Director in developing departmental strategies and execution (short medium and long term).
  • Support to the Director and LT team in the development of the Companys strategy with recommendations based on market analysis (short medium and long term)
  • Develop and execute agency strategy.
  • Provide necessary support and coaching to Area Managers to retain and expand existing customers.
  • Provide effective planning support and cost awareness to area managers and sales.
  • Provide necessary support to area managers to acquire and expand new customers.
  • Directly manage high-level customers in the area
  • Resource planning and management including hiring.
  • Evaluation and responsibility for PMR of subordinates
  • Design and implement training programs (short medium and long term)
  • Management of cross-functional projects (short medium and long term)
  • Providing leading progress information to subordinates
  • Managing subordinates work performance and developing their capabilities using tools coaching and feedback techniques
  • Selection and development of next generation leaders
  • Proactive support to department directors
  • Strengthening relationships with industry associations (e.g. ophthalmologists associations)
  • Strengthening relationships with affiliated companies and customers at the management level for mutual business expansion
  • Gather information through proprietary channels Strengthen customer relationships and share important information with supervisors.

Work Environment:

  • Visits to assigned customers by public transportation or company car (depending on the area).
  • Coaches subordinates and accompanies them in sales to deal with customers.
  • Except for customer visits the employee will come to work in principle to perform internal departmental duties such as area analysis area meetings human resource development sales management planning etc. and to hold meetings with other internal departments.
  • He/she manages subordinates in two or more areas and about 25 people or so.

Experience:

  • Approximately 12 years of sales experience 3 years of management experience
  • MR certification or experience selling pharmaceuticals medical devices or medical equipment is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Regular Drivers License
