What would I be doing

You will play a crucial role inexpanding our network of employer partnersanddriving employment outcomes for people with disabilities across the Logan area. Your responsibilities would fall into these 3 categories:

Business Development and Partnerships

• Proactively source and develop new business opportunities through networking cold calling and other prospecting techniques.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers understanding their specific hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
• Negotiate wage subsidy agreements with employers.

Client Engagement and Support

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients providing tailored support to help them achieve their career goals.
• Assist clients in transitioning into stable employment collaborating with the Client Coordinator and Support Officer.
• Communicate employment opportunities to local employment services staff and job-seeking clients.

Employer Engagement

• Develop document and implement effective strategies to generate employment opportunities for clients.
• Identify and present innovative marketing ideas and concepts to attract new employers and increase employment opportunities.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of the current labour market conditions and vacancy requirements.

Selection Criteria includes:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role working with people with disabilities.
• Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and provide positive solutions to complex problems.
• Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing and experience and/or ability in the Disability EmploymentService industry or similar field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders including collaborating with work colleagues to achieve KPIs
• Highly effective communication networking and rapport building skills
• Can do attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic fun environment!
• Ability to build key partnerships with businesses in the local community.
• A valid C class driving license.
• Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance to start (we can help).
