Manly Hydraulics Laboratory (MHL) NSW governments specialist advisor in water monitoring and modelling is currently seeking to appoint a Team Leader Coastal & Marine to lead a team that support the delivery of a range of coastal oceanic/marine estuarine and hydraulic engineering projects that includes field data collection data analysis data quality control and dissemination numerical and physical modelling and engineering this role you will be part of the MHL leadership team lead your team to ensure successful completion all projects assist with responding to public enquiries respond to client enquiries and contribute to promoting the services of MHL.
About You
You will be responsible for providing direction technical oversight and growth of team members and resources to deliver projects using best-practice project management principles. You will also provide technical advice information and solutions to all interested parties to support professional fee for service delivery to clients and be responsible for all coastal and marine project development and delivery.
To be successful in this role you will be active and well connected within the professional coastal engineering community and have a good understanding of New South Wales Australian and international coastal ocean and port markets with an interest and ability to develop these further. You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
You will also be a strong communicator with excellent project management skills. Your ability to effectively plan implement evaluate projects and deliver high quality technical solutions will ensure your success in the role.
