Acting Team Leader Service Delivery Cairns

About the role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health and psychosocial disabilities selectability is seeking an acting team leader - service delivery for leave coverage in Cairns from 13 August 2026 to 30 August 2026.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• lead and manage the delivery of psychosocial service delivery and Block Funded Programs
• coach and support a team of lifestyle support workers to tailor services to the needs of recipients
• build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across clinical community and primary health services
• representselectabilityat local and regional network meetings forums and events

About you

To be successful you must:

• experience leading teams programs and services in mental health disability or community services
• possess clear and effective communication skills
• demonstrate computer literacy and accuracy in record management
• exhibit an ability to problem solve
• be able to follow policies and procedures at all times
• be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals

Role requirements

• cert IV mental health or relevant qualification (highly desirable)
• current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)
• current minimum P1 C class Queensland drivers licence
• current roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• a Child Safety & Personal History Screening check(or the ability to obtain)
• a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability or obtain)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety & You completion certificate (or the ability)
