How Youll Help Us Connect the World

As a Mechanical EngineeringIntern you will be responsible for assisting theFiber Optic Product Engineering team in the generation of new product ideas driven by customer feedback and market trends.

You Will Make an Impact By

• Creating new product concepts and product designs for Fiber Optic Networks
• Generating product assembly drawings & documentation for manufacturing
• Collaboratingwith manufacturing to optimize the design for manufacturability
• Interfacing with engineers on product improvements and solutions
• Working closely with our development lab to test and demonstrate product compliance

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Actively pursuing a bachelors (upcoming juniors & seniors)or masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

• Possess a high-energy level strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Have experiencein solid modeling software and data management CREO experience preferred
• Have a general understanding in FEA analysis Ansys preferred
• Possess good hands-on mechanical ability
• Havestrong verbal written presentation analytical and interpersonal skills
