Position Summary:
The Proposal Specialist leads the proposal development process for a growing design-build firm. This role manages proposals from start to finish ensuring high-quality compliant and compelling submissions. The position requires strong writing organization and leadership skills along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full proposal lifecyclefrom kickoff to final submission.
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and develop content.
Write and edit technical and marketing content for proposals presentations and collateral.
Apply proposal best practices (e.g. Shipley method) to ensure quality and consistency.
Prepare qualifications packages SF330s design-build proposals and interview materials.
Maintain and update marketing content including resumes project descriptions and templates.
Track proposal deadlines maintain a proposal database and manage task assignments.
Assist with client development and pursuit strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications English Business or related field.
Experience:3 years in proposal management
Federal Proposal Experience:preferred
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong writing editing and communication skills.
Proven success managing complex proposals under tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop).
Advanced time management skills.
