The Director of Retail Marketing is responsible for leading the strategic vision development and execution of retail marketing initiatives across theJames Hardie TimberTech and AZEK Exteriors brands. This role will drive retail channel growth strengthen brand presence and deepen customer engagement across home improvement retailers including The Home Depot Lowes and other key partners.
This position requires a dynamic results-oriented leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence. The Senior Director will oversee retail marketing strategy merchandising digital retail programs and omni-channel execution to maximize market share category leadership and profitability across both brands and will be accountable to achieving the revenue and profitability goals established.
What Youll Do:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term retail marketing strategies that align with each brands growth objectives and retail channel priorities.
- Translate business strategies into actionable growth plans and programs that drive sales volume brand preference and market share.
- Lead omni-channel marketing strategies that integrate e-commerce in-store merchandising special order and stocking programs.
- Partner closely with Sales Product Brand and Digital teams to ensure a unified go-to-market approach.

- Direct the development of promotional and merchandising plans that elevate brand visibility and engagement at retail.
- Lead line review strategy and execution ensuring both brands achieve maximum presence and sell-through performance.

Customer & Channel Collaboration
- Build strong partnerships with key retail accounts including The Home Depot and Lowes to drive joint business planning and annual marketing programs.

- Monitor and analyze competitive activity consumer insights and category trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Team & Financial Management

What Youll Bring:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field required (Masters preferred).
- 15 years of experience in consumer or building materials marketing with 7 years in retail channel leadership roles.
- Proven success in managing large retail partnerships (Home Depot Lowes or equivalent).
- Strong omni-channel marketing experience including digital retail merchandising and in-store activation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams across multiple brands or business units.
- Excellent strategic planning analytical and communication skills.
