Job Summary

To strengthen our finance team we are currently looking for an experienced and motivated: Financial accountant Manager of Bulgaria & Region (m/w/d)
Tasks
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll and bank reconciliations.
- Verify register and reconcile all incoming invoices and banking transfers accurately and on time.
- Oversee the finance system and maintain close collaboration with the CPA on all external accounting matters ensuring timely provision of required documents to the CPA and the State Tax Inspectorate.
- Process distributor bonuses and manage banking operations for local branches with accuracy and compliance.
- Strategically plan implement and monitor budgets on a monthly quarterly and annual basis to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Manage and deliver accurate internal and external financial reports on a weekly monthly and yearly schedule.
- Provide financial and operational support to the customer service team and contribute to additional projects assigned by the Country Manager
- Perform controlling activities for the regional branches financial operations.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff promoting professional development and adherence to best practices.
- Analyze financial performance identify trends and provide insights to support business strategy and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Minimum 57 years of experience in accounting/finance management preferably in multinational companies.
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting standards tax regulations and IFRS.
- Proven experience in financial reporting budgeting forecasting and banking operations.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; Bulgarian mandatory; additional regional languages are a plus.
