Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney based in Newport Beach CA. The Associate Attorney will handle client communications legal research and the preparation of legal documents including discovery motions and pre-trial filings. Responsibilities also include depositions attending court proceedings field inspections/testing working with experts and attending mediation/settlement conferences.
Qualifications
- Strong legal research skills and proficiency in drafting legal documents including pleadings and contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and court representation
- Organizational and time management skills for handling case files and meeting deadlines
- Experience with litigation legal analysis and interpretation of laws and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Active license to practice law in the state of California
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Familiarity with Westlaw is a plus
