About this Position:
Job Title: Business Analyst
Responsibilities:

Serve as a liaison between the business programs community and IT to provide technical solutions that meet user needs.

Possess expertise in supported business units and understand IT systems and capabilities.

Analyze business operations to identify strengths weaknesses and opportunities to automate processes.
-
Assist in business process redesign and documentation for new technology.
-
Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes educating IT on business direction.
-
Facilitate communication between business units and IT to negotiate agreements and commitments from requirements to implementation.
-
Utilize technological trends to provide solutions that enhance the enterprises competitive edge.
-
Execute requirements development including elicitation analysis specification validation and documentation of business processes and data requirements.
-
Participate in requirements management processes provide guidance to technical and test teams and proactively identify risks and solutions.
-
Interact with internal and external stakeholders maintain business rules and models in a repository and perform other project-related duties.
Required skills:
-
At least seven years of experience in commercial healthcare.
-
At least three years experience in Medicaid payer system integration and delivery.
-
Experience with inner workings of cross functional projects.
-
Familiarity with Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) business architecture principles.
-
Familiarity with standard data structures electronic data interchange processes and related file formats.
-
Interest skill and ability to innovate including business processes methods/procedures and technology.
-
Ability to effectively work and communicate in both oral and written.
-
Ability to work in a professional office environment with a diverse.
Preferred skills:
-
General subject matter expertise as it relates to Medicaid or other healthcare insurance experience (project or operations).
-
MMIS experience (project or operations).
-
Microsoft Office Project/Project Server group of teammates.
-
Must have exceptional attention to detail.
