Position: Food Service Supervisor
Location: Miami FL
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: Starting at $22.23 per hour (increases based on experience)

Responsibilities
The Food Service Supervisor coordinates the operations of the Food Service department to promote optimal patient care while providing exemplary customer service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to menu planning staff management development training and evaluation of systems and processes to achieve department goals.
- Planning organizing directing and evaluating all phases of the department.
- Managing budget and cost control menu planning quality food procurement food preparation and service administrative record keeping maintaining high standards of nutritional care quality improvement and quality control.
- Lead trainings of Food Services personnel to ensure safety and sanitation procedures are being followed.
- Scheduling Food Services personnel.
- Calculating menus in accordance with diet orders and the nutritional needs of patients.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a state or local approved food safety/sanitation course required
- Thorough knowledge of food products service operations staffing food handling and storage and regulatory requirements required
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years experience supervising food service personnel preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills preferred
