Position Overview
The Business Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures ensuring quality control through quality assessments as well as assessing organizational business solutions and operations while establishing a culture of continuous improvement. The Business Analysts duties include developing and analyzing reports research establishing processes and reviewing operating procedures strategizing ideas to improve business operations and meeting with leadership and other stakeholders to provide suggestions based on their analysis. The BA will coordinate with leadership department heads and IT support personnel to streamline processes and increase productivity among employees.
Major Activities
- Develop standard operating procedures and quality assessment and control processes.
- Gather and analyze data for potential business and operational process development.
- Identify specific opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
- Influence stakeholders to support operational projects.
- Assist with project management for selected projects.
- Coordinate with cross-departmental and division teams to produce better project outcomes.
- Test business and operational processes and recommend improvements.
- Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories that are easier to complete.
- Develop reports of actionable information for organizational decision-makers.
- Write clear and well-structured project and process requirements/documents.
- Create reports dashboards and visualizations to understand operational performance.
- Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools.
- Perform data discovery analysis and modeling.
- Collaborate with leadership and project managers on roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Perform all other tasks as appropriate and as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to analyze new and complex business-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule technology methodology tools solution components and financial management of the project.
- Strong knowledge of project management life cycle and computer-based tools for project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great analytical critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Must be US citizen
- Must possess active secret security clearance or higher
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration finance or related field
- PMP or Industry-Approved Certification required such as Scrum Master Certification
