Learning Content Coordinator

Were hiring a Learning Content Coordinator to join our Rock Island IL team. This position is a temporary 6-month assignment.

The Learning Content Coordinator at IMEG is responsible for supporting the development organization and maintenance of engaging and effective learning content for our employees. This role plays a key part in ensuring our training materials are current accessible and aligned with company learning objectives.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation editing and formatting of various learning materials including e-learning modules presentations job aids quick reference guides and technical documentation
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across different departments to gather information review content accuracy and incorporate feedback
• Support the instructional design process by assisting with content outlines storyboarding and multimedia integration
• Conduct quality assurance checks on learning materials to ensure accuracy consistency and adherence to brand guidelines and accessibility standards
• Coordinate with external vendors or internal teams for graphic design video production or other multimedia needs
• Track and report on content usage and effectiveness metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Support the coordination of training delivery including ongoing maintenance and upkeep of learning materials and logistics..
• Stay up-to-date with emerging learning technologies and content creation best practices
• Comply with all regulations and laws

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong understanding of Learning & Development principles
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging training sessions for a variety of audiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills to assess learning needs and program effectiveness
• High attention to detail organization and follow through
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel) and experience with content management systems (CMS) or Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory is a plus

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Education Communications Marketing Human Resources or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in content creation content management technical writing or a similar role preferably within a learning & development context
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite) or e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate) is a bonus

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
