JOB SUMMARY:

The Content Specialist Creative Communications is responsible for creating and executing compelling written visual and video content that amplifies Universal Creatives brand voice across internal and external platforms. This role develops messaging campaigns and creative assets for social digital and video channels to advance brand storytelling celebrate milestones and promote Universal Creatives innovative work globally. Key responsibilities include managing content planning and production attending partner meetings coordinating event capture and supporting strategic communications initiatives such as executive visibility and culture programsall while ensuring alignment with UCs brand voice and UDX priorities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Execute content initiatives that advance Universal Creative through consistent on-brand storytelling.
  • Develop and execute engaging ideas for platforms such as Instagram LinkedIn Creative Central 365 Emma and uShare in alignment with content calendar and strategic messaging goals.
  • Create written visual and video content for social media newsletters and digital signage.
  • Produce and edit video projects to high-quality standards including color correction audio cleanup and transitions.
  • Maintain an organized content asset library and editorial calendar for planning and tracking.

Social Media & Audience Engagement

  • Plan schedule publish and report on content across social platforms to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Curate content identify trends and engage with guests and clients through appropriate channels in a timely manner.
  • Partner with UDX social media teams and internal stakeholders to ensure holistic brand alignment.
  • Monitor engagement data to inform storytelling strategy and optimize future communications.

Collaboration & Campaign Support

  • Collaborate with global departments designers production teams and agencies to develop creative concepts scripts and storyboards.
  • Support major Universal Creative communications campaigns and initiatives including content creation stakeholder coordination and publishing across platforms.
  • Provide communications support for UC-wide initiatives special events photo/video shoots speaking platforms internal presentations and award submissions.

Storytelling & Strategic Communications

  • Source and shape stories that reflect UCs innovation culture and global impact while ensuring brand alignment and legal/IP compliance.
  • Support and contribute to leadership messaging and internal updates helping shape narratives while maintaining brand tone and quality standards.
  • Build relationships across departments to identify storytelling opportunities that highlight strategic priorities and culture moments.
  • Contribute to reporting recap materials and campaign analysis for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

  • Social media experience passion for and a strong understanding of leveraging social media channels is preferred
  • Video production and editing
  • Strong writing skills
  • Must have experience with the Microsoft office and Adobe suite

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree Preferred in Marketing Journalism English or Communications is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

2 years of experience in communications marketing social media digital media or digital communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
