What Youll Do

Grand River Health Main Campus is seeking a dedicated Member Services Representative Pre-Authorization to join our team in Rifle this role you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience by handlinginsurance verification. If you have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills this position offers a great opportunity to contribute to quality patient care while working in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify necessary demographic and billing information updating records accurately in theMeditech system.
• Verify insurance benefits includingprecertification/authorization for inpatient/outpatient surgical patients cardiopulmonary services attended sleep studies and all clinical outpatient MRIs CTs and similar diagnostics.
• Notify patients and guarantors to secure financial arrangements prior to services being provided.
• Cross-train with other members of the Patient Access team to assist with registration duties as needed.
• Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Who Were Looking For

• Previous experience in patient registration insurance verification or pre-authorization preferred.
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar healthcare information systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients guarantors and healthcare staff.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer
Our total rewards package includes

• Pay Range: $20.00 - $29.18/hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials:$2$4/hour for nights and weekends

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
