Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist Breast Health for our hospital in DublinIreland.

Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage patients with breast cancer benign breast conditions and related issues ensuring safe high-quality clinical outcomes.

  • Develop and adapt personalised care plans that address physical emotional and psychological needs throughout the patient journey.

  • Provide specialist clinical care across pre-operative intra-operative and post-operative stages acting as a key point of contact for patient queries and support.

  • Guide patients in informed decision-making ensuring they understand treatment options including reconstruction and supportive therapies.

  • Maintain accurate complete and up-to-date documentation for all patient assessments care plans and interventions.

  • Educate and support patients and families delivering information on breast health treatment processes side-effect management and survivorship.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams coordinating care across surgery oncology radiology and psychosocial services to ensure seamless patient pathways.

  • Provide leadership mentorship and education to nursing and clinical staff contributing to training protocol development and service improvements.

  • Participate in research and quality-improvement initiatives promoting evidence-based practice and supporting clinical audits for improved patient outcomes.

  • Represent and advance the breast care service within the organisation and at relevant external forums contributing to accreditation and regulatory standards (e.g. JCI HIQA)



  • Requirements


  • Registered in the General Division of the NMBI Register of Nurses.

  • Minimum of five years recent post-registration nursing experience (full-time or equivalent part-time) in an acute hospital setting.

  • Oncology or Surgical nursing experience essential.

  • Possess a recognised Level 8 QQI/NFQ post-registration qualification relevant to Oncology Nursing Breast Care or Gynaecology or be willing to complete this within one year of commencing the role.

  • Hold a current ACLS certification or be actively working towards obtaining it.
