BGC Okanagan is seeking a passionate and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our Early Years Child Care Program at Alexis Park and Ellison Elementary Club in Vernon. If youre enthusiastic about helping children learn grow and thrive this is the place for you!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of programs and activities that are consistent with agency core values and core programming areas.
- Ensure that programs develop engage members address healthy positive child development and provide members with a sense of belonging.
- Provide a nurturing fun and safe environment for children
- Establish positive relationships and open communication with parents/guardians
- Ensure that specific goals of the children and programs are met
- Attends to childrens physical needs which may include diapering toileting eating and sleeping.
- Keep program facilities and equipment safe and clean reporting any repairs and concerns to senior staff.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Assistant Certification is required
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Successful completion of Agency screening process including a criminal record check
Hours: Casual hours Monday to Friday.
Rate of Pay: $21.22 per hour
