Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Administrative Professional you will be an integral contributor to our operational success providing comprehensive support to leadership and ensuring an environment of efficiency and high-quality service.
Every day you will facilitate the streamlined operation of the office managing diverse administrative functions and cultivating effective internal and external communication networks.
To thrive in this critical role you will demonstrate exceptional organizational acumen a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to anticipating needs and delivering accurate timely support.
- Reviews/audits patient records for accuracy of documentation.
- Participates in the analysis and trending of statistical data for patient populations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Creates and maintains databases to ensure tracking and trending of data specific to the Family Birth Place care service quality and stewardship.
- Ensure supply charges and documentation of supplies are accurate.
- Oversees the schedule and staffing for the unit.
- Oversees procedure scheduling.
Shift: 6:45am - 4:15pm
Schedule: Monday - Thursday
Student loan repayment program offered!
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years experience in healthcare
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Experience coding and auditing patient files in an acute care setting.
Preferred
- Bachelors in Health Care Administration Business Administration or related field.
- Experience with Meditech clinical systems.
