Do you love creating vibrant engaging public experiences and educational programmes that bring taonga collections and stories to life Heres your chance to make a difference by designing experiences that inspire engagement learning creativity and community connection.
This is an opportunity for a Public Experience Specialist to help programme our events stories spaces and taonga. From events education programmes tours and other experiences your work will help us connect with existing audiences and engage new this role youll lead the design and delivery of inspiring and innovative programmes across the Library and Archives public and gallery spaces.
What were looking for
Were looking for someone with a solid foundation in public experiences education programmes and / or marketing and communications who is highly creative organised and comfortable working and influencing across teams and organisations to get things done in a fast-paced environment. Youll specialise in designing and delivering engaging programmes events tours and resources for all ages and communities.

The Partnerships and Commissions branch of DIA is responsible for a diverse portfolio of national institutions commissions Executive and community-based services. The branch oversees and supports the National Library and Archives New Zealand Hāpai Hapori Community Operations and Ministerial Services who provide a range of services to the Prime Minister and the Executive. The branch oversees various commissions including royal commissions ministerial inquiries and those established through legislation (Local Government Commission Gambling Commission).
