We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Senior HR Operations Specialist to support US HR processes for Spanish-speaking employees and managers. This role requires native or near-native Spanish fluency and strong expertise in end-to-end HR operations enabling seamless service delivery across cultural linguistic and regulatory contexts. The specialist will manage core HR lifecycle processes ensure compliance with US labor standards and provide high-quality employee experience to a diverse workforce. This is a work-from-office role based in Colombia.
Key Responsibilities
Bilingual HR Service Delivery
- Provide end-to-end HR operational supportincluding employee lifecycle updates data management benefits administration employment verification and policy clarificationfor Spanish-speaking employees and managers.
- Deliver bilingual (Spanish/English) support to ensure clarity accuracy and cultural alignment in all HR communication and documentation.
Compliance & Process Governance
- Act as a process SME for US HR operations with familiarity in US labor laws social security programs and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ensure HR transactions comply with federal and state regulations internal policies and audit standards.
- Support validation of HR data and ensure accuracy across HRIS systems.
Escalation & Case Management
- Manage escalated employee inquiries applying knowledge of US HR practices and company policies to resolve issues effectively.
- Provide bilingual assistance for sensitive or complex employee cases ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Contribute to the enhancement of HRSS playbooks SOPs and process workflows for bilingual support in the US region.
- Identify operational gaps and propose solutions that strengthen efficiency quality and compliance.
(Lead-oriented responsibility) Coordinate with US-based legal or compliance teams to validate complex operational updates and provide technical guidance to the HRSS team.
Qualifications :
- 3 years of progressive HR Operations or HR Shared Services experience supporting US-based HR processes.
- Native or near-native Spanish fluency; strong English verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong understanding of US HR regulations compliance requirements and HR best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; Masters degree in HR preferred.
- HRIS and case management experience (Workday ServiceNow SAP etc.) strongly preferred.
