The Role
As aVFX Production Coordinatorin the Film & Episodic team at Framestoreyoull be engaging daily with VFX Artists Leads & Supervisors toensure thesmoothrunning of theproduction workflowsfor high-end visual effects shows. You will play a key role in making sure that theartistsschedules are on target and youll be there to support the wider production team.
Additionally youll be responsible for:
Liaisingwith Line Producers Leads and Supervisors to track and manage the workflow through the departments meeting internal and external deadlines
Organise dailies rounds and meetings taking clear and comprehensivenotes and ensuring the production database is up to date.
Provide clear communication between crew including Supervisors Leansandother members of the production team.
Anticipate and communicate issues tothe Line Producer and Supervisor to resolve problems quickly.
Maintain an accurate summary of progress from the previous days work by artists
Help to maintain a positive upbeat and professional production office being proactive and solution-orientated
Other ad hoc duties as may reasonably be expected
Job requirements
Job Requirements:
Excellent organisation time/project managementskills
Able to work within a team towards a common goal
Basic understanding of live-action and CG-based visual effects workflows
Experience and knowledge of using Shotgun software
Desirable Skills:
Previous experience at Junior Production Coordinator or Production Assistant level
Existing knowledge of Framestore production databases (e.g. Shotgun)
Good knowledge of MS Office packages (including Word Excel and Project)
Lateral thinking skills
