Join Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network as our Child Health and Development (CHAD) Manager leading the future of early childhood services across our region. This pivotal role provides strategic and operational leadership for Allied Health Child Development services shaping culturally safe family-centred and evidence-based models of care for children and families.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE

  • Lead coordinate and grow Allied Health Child Development services ensuring safe high-quality culturally responsive care.
  • Drive workforce planning resource allocation team development and service innovation across BHFLHN.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams First Nations leaders universities NGOs and statewide networks to deliver integrated and effective early childhood services.
  • Monitor program outcomes lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research service planning and statewide early childhood strategy.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS

Working in this environment it is important to us that we only employ people with the upmost integrity and commitment to serving the South Australian community and its visitors to the highest possible standards. To ensure that we meet that commitment there are a few checks that you will be required to undertake. These are detailed on the Role Description and do vary depending on what is required in the role but are likely to include the following:

  • You will need to be immunised. The policy on immunisation is very detailed so please contact the Enquiries Person for this position if you have any queries.Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment screening and vaccination policy
  • You will need to undergo employment screening what you require is also on the front page of the Role Description.
  • You will be required to hold registration with AHPRA to practice as an Allied Health professional within our organisation.
