Since1981 Ronald McDonald House Toronto has served as a place to call home forfamilies with seriously ill children undergoing treatment. Ronald McDonaldHouse Toronto encompasses a House for 81 families in downtown Toronto and sevenFamily Rooms in hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area and in Sudbury. Thefamilies we serve come from throughout Ontario across Canada and around theworld.
We are currently seeking a Manager Educational& Recreational Programs to lead our in-house school seasonal campsenrichment programs and caregiver wellness initiatives. This is a highlyimpactful leadership role that ensures children youth and caregivers receivedevelopmentally appropriate inclusive and trauma-informed support whilestaying at Ronald McDonald House Toronto.
The Role
Reporting to the ChiefProgram Officer/School Principal the Manager is responsible for the designimplementation and continuous improvement of educational recreational andcaregiver-support programming for families staying at Ronald McDonald HouseToronto. This role oversees the in-house private school seasonal camps familyenrichment activities and caregiver wellness initiatives.
The Manager also developsand leads specialized staff training to ensure services are mission-aligned andtrauma-informed and supervises all programming personnel.
