Job Summary
Are you a creative and driven Design & Technology Teacher looking to begin your teaching career in a supportive school A thriving secondary school in Nottinghamshire is recruiting a DT Teacher to join their ambitious Design & Technology department from January 2026.
About the Role:
This full-time permanent position will involve delivering DT lessons across KS34. You will be responsible for creating exciting schemes of work teaching practical and theory-based lessons ensuring health and safety in the workshop and contributing to the wider DT curriculum.

We are looking for someone who:
Has a DT Engineering or related degree
Holds QTS/PGCE or is finishing ECT training
Can teach DT to KS3KS4 confidently
Brings creativity enthusiasm and strong practical skills
Works effectively within a collaborative DT faculty
