Objective of the Role:
This role is critical to ensure the successful IT and ERP transition and integration of the acquired entity into new digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic leader to assess plan and execute the post-acquisition IT alignment including ERP application licensing infrastructure data migration and overall architecture integration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Acquisition Transition & Integration
- Lead end-to-end IT transition planning for the acquired entity ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Evaluate current-state IT & ERP landscape of the acquired company.
- Ensure continuity for legacy applications (AS400 Porini) while supporting eventual migration or integration.
2. ERP Oversight
- Manage ERP strategy during the transition phase (e.g. Oracle Fusion Cloud Microsoft D365 etc.).
- Coordinate license migration compliance and optimization (based on existing and new license cost models).
- Plan and lead data extraction cleansing validation and migration strategy from legacy systems.
3. Enterprise Architecture Alignment
- Work closely with the CIO to design an integrated architecture roadmap.
- Recommend consolidation retirement or re-engineering of applications.
- Ensure security scalability and supportability of the integrated IT environment.
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the single point of contact between business IT teams and third-party vendors.
- Participate in contract renegotiations (including software licensing support SLAs).
- Drive collaboration across business units to align priorities and resources.
5. Governance & Documentation
- Establish and manage IT transition governance structure and milestones.
- Document application inventory interfaces dependencies and critical risks.
- Create a knowledge transfer and support model for long-term sustainability.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles preferably in ERP transformation or IT integrations.
- Proven expertise with top-tier enterprise ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience with IT due diligence data migration and integration planning.
- Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management infrastructure and security.
- Experience working with CIOs and senior leadership to develop enterprise architecture strategies.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- IT related certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
