We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to design develop and maintain industrial automation systems. You will play a key role in improving manufacturing efficiency process reliability and operational safety across our facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to design develop and maintain industrial automation systems. You will play a key role in improving manufacturing efficiency process reliability and operational safety across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design program and commission automation systems including PLCs SCADA HMIs robotics and control networks.
- Troubleshoot electrical control and instrumentation systems across production lines.
- Optimize existing automation processes to improve cycle time reliability and energy efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams functional specifications and test procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical electrical production quality) on new projects and system upgrades.
- Support predictive and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering Electrical/Electronic Engineering Mechatronics or related field.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Allen-Bradley Schneider Omron).
- Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms (e.g. WinCC Ignition Wonderware).
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP Profibus Modbus Profinet).
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting automation systems (coursework/internships acceptable for junior roles).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
